Cutest Thing
The other night we were out to dinner at Aronomink, letting the girls run wild, and they ran off to the bathroom area. About 5 minutes later I noticed they had not returned. I walked over to the lobby outside the bathrooms, and the doors were all closed. Now Maura is fully potty trained but refuses to wipe. Maggie is potty *trained*. We, however, are not at the point where, in public places, we say "just go to the bathroom girls." (soon, I hope!) Well, I listened at the door of the ladies room and could hear two sweet little voices. I opened the door, and Mags was sitting on the toilet. Mo had her hands placed gently on Mags knees saying something sweet. They both looked up at the intruder who had just invaded their privacy. Maura says, "Mommy, we're fine. I am taking care of Maggie. You can go back to the table." I replied, "How about if I just stand out here and you call me when Mags needs to be wiped?" "Nope, Mom, I got it." So I close the door all but a crack. I watch the rest of the interaction. Maura helps Mags off the toilet, all the while talking in her sweet you-are-a-baby-I-am-a-big-girl voice. Lifts her up to wash her hands; washes her own hands; grabs them each a towel. She then takes Mag's hand and leads her out of the bathroom. Maybe we are closer then we thought to just sending them on their way!

That is just precious! They are both getting to be such big girls!
I'm bummed that we missed this weekend. We were absolutely miserable the entire time! Hope you had fun!
